Our mission is to provide accessible mobile foot care services for all communities in Calgary. We strive to help you achieve and maintain healthier feet in the comfort of your own home.
My name is Justin, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) and an active member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses (CAFCN).
With specialized training from the Alberta Foot Care Academy, I have the knowledge base and skill set to address both basic and advanced foot care concerns.
Additionally, I hold certification in Onyfix, allowing me to offer an effective and non-invasive solution for treating ingrown toenails.
I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. Growing up in a family of healthcare professionals, I always knew that helping and caring for others was my true calling. I became a nurse in 2004, and my nursing journey began at the GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre in Vancouver, BC, where I worked in the Acquired Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury units. I also worked in long term care facilities as well. My 8 years there provided me with unforgettable and rewarding experiences.
In 2012, I moved to Calgary to start a family and take on the roles of a Clinic Manager and Nurse at two family practice and walk-in clinics. During my time as a manager, I became well-versed in Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) protocols and Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) in compliance with Alberta Health and the College of Physicians of Alberta standards. This directly supports my commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention, safety and hygiene when using foot care tools.
In 2019, I expanded my nursing skills by completing the Foot Care course at the Alberta Foot Care Academy in Calgary where I learned the fundamentals of both basic and advanced foot care . Since then, I’ve stayed current with the latest knowledge and practices, and have recently become a member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses. I’m now excited to pursue my journey as a full-time foot care nurse, proudly serving the communities of Calgary.
